KONSEP BERKAH DALAM PEMBERDAYAAN EKONOMI KEUMATAN

Abstract

This paper examines the meaning of blessing in strengthening the economy of the people, as a response to the negative effects of the secular economic system and global capitalism that have separated ethical values from business activities. The purpose of this study is to investigate the concept of blessing in economic interactions related to economic empowerment, with the assumption that blessing is a sign of success that is broader than just financial gain. This study applies a qualitative method through a literature study with a descriptive-analytical approach. Data were collected from books, journals, and other relevant written sources. The analysis shows that the Islamic economy is based on the principles of justice, balance, and benefit. Blessings, defined as divine goodness that continues to increase, can be achieved through the application of Islamic business ethics such as honesty, trustworthiness, and compliance with sharia. By combining ethics and spirituality at every stage, strengthening the economy of the people can create overall prosperity, building a more just and sustainable society.
