IMPLEMENTASI AKAD QARD DALAM PEMBIAYAAN AQIQAH DI AMITRA SYARIAH MALANG

Abstract

The financing of aqiqah has become one of the increasingly developed services in Islamic financial institutions, including at Amitra Syariah Malang. This article aims to analyze the implementation of the qard contract in aqiqah financing at Amitra Syariah. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including interviews, document studies, and observations. The findings show that the qard contract is used to provide loans to customers without any additional interest or profit for the institution, thus facilitating the community in carrying out the aqiqah ritual in accordance with Islamic principles. In addition, this study identifies the challenges and opportunities faced in the implementation of the qard contract in aqiqah financing services. It is hoped that this article can provide insights for other Islamic financial institutions in developing products based on the qard contract.
